A huge selection of military history
Amazing Museum. Outside of a National Museum, I have never seen so many artefacts. We spent just over two hours visiting, but will be back to visit again. Well worth the entrance fee and looking forward to another visit with friends.
Much larger than expected. Wonderful collection.
Some friends an I visited this amazing museum yesterday. It was much larger than we expected. Very informative and friendly staff ( Eleanor, Stuart and Kyle) helped us to understand all the different eras represented of this vast collection. It’s laid out in a traditional way, glass cases of exhibits, but everything is very well labelled and explained, without being too heavy going. Something for every interest we thought. We spent 3 and a half hours here and then had a packed lunch on the picnic tables provided in the courtyard.
A very enjoyable day. Well done to all the volunteers that make this place a ‘must see’ for anyone interested in military.
Brilliant local museum with superb collection
Excellent local museum - covering multiple historical eras and thousands of superb exhibits. covid secure, polite and knowledgeable staff to help make the experience better and point out items of special interest. Mason Collection a highlight for Ian Fleming fans. Brilliant way to spend a couple of hours looking at multiple historical times and artifacts.

Kyle and Julie were amazing hosts and were very kind and attentive.
