Maldon, Essex 24 Oct 2023 – The Combined Military Services Museum (CMSM) is pleased to announce a special movie event in honour of the 105th anniversary of Armistice Day. In collaboration with renowned rock sensation Sabaton, the CMSM will be hosting a captivating screening of their highly anticipated film, “The War to End All Wars,” at Maldon Town Hall on 4th November from 7pm to 11pm.
Sabaton, the distinguished rock group recognized for their exceptional contribution to the music industry, have not only gained international acclaim with their latest studio album, “The War To End All Wars,” but have also extended their artistic vision to the realm of cinema. This groundbreaking film, created in partnership with the esteemed animation studio, YarnHub, offers viewers an immersive and educational journey through the gripping narratives of World War I.
The upcoming movie event is set to mark the world premiere of “The War to End All Wars,” promising an unforgettable experience for all attendees. Notably, this event is expected to serve as the centerpiece of a monumental global museum campaign, reaffirming Sabaton’s commitment to historical preservation and education.
During the event, our Patron Bruce Crompton from Combat Dealers will be gracing the screening with his presence, offering attendees the opportunity for an exclusive meet-and-greet session. Additionally, a special raffle of cherished memorabilia will be conducted, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting the museum.
